Who operates Queenup
Hangzhou Origin Gravigation Technology Co., Ltd operates the Queenup mobile app. Contact: forkable0@gmail.com. Updated 14 October 2026.
Data we process
An anonymous account identifier is created when you start using online features. We store your games and moves, course and assessment progress, preferences and coach questions and answers. If you sign in, we also process your sign-in identifier and email address. A nickname or external chess username is processed when you provide it. Service requests include technical information such as IP address, request time and error details. We do not request your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone or advertising identifier.
How we use data
We use this information to provide chess practice and explanations, save and restore progress, personalise your learning, authenticate accounts, protect the service and investigate errors. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising across other companies' apps or websites.
Service providers and transfers
Supabase provides authentication and database storage; the launch database is in the United States. Cloudflare runs our backend. Sentry receives scrubbed technical error details from the backend; we exclude account identifiers, request contents and coach text from these error events. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Apple and, where enabled, Google verify your sign-in. Coach requests send chess positions, relevant game context and your question through OpenRouter to OpenAI's model service. We do not intentionally include your email or sign-in tokens in model requests. Do not put sensitive personal information in a coach question. Providers may process information outside your country under their own service and privacy terms. An external rating lookup sends the username you enter to Chess.com or Lichess.
Playing with friends
If friend play is available, your opponent can see your nickname and the shared game's moves, but not your email or private learning history.
Retention and deletion
Account records are retained while your account is active, until you request deletion. You can request deletion in Settings > Account, including for an anonymous account. An opponent's copy of a shared game may remain with your identity removed. Database daily backups may retain deleted records for up to 7 days. Provider logs and other backups can remain for their limited operational retention periods; they are not your active account. You can also request deletion or ask about retained information by emailing forkable0@gmail.com; see the account deletion page for verification steps.
Your choices
You can use an anonymous account rather than linking an email or social sign-in. You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting forkable0@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. Rights and complaint routes depend on your jurisdiction.
Children and policy changes
Queenup is a general chess learning app. Children should use it with a parent or guardian. A parent can contact forkable0@gmail.com about a child's information. We update the date and this policy when our practices change.
